James Hepburn Sutton
Chairman and CEO

Jamie Sutton served as consultant to the J.D.Power Car Clubs and developed a national vehicle donation program on their behalf, which successfully directed tens of thousands of dollars into non-profit causes. Since leaving J.D.Power, he has established V-DAC.

Mr. Sutton graduated from the Scots College in Sydney Australia and the University of California in Berkeley before spending 2 years in the U.S. Peace Corps in Uganda. After his return he received his law degree at Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco and served for a number of years in the District Attorney's Office in San Francisco. He has continued in private practice for over 20 years.

He is the author of The Air Travelers' Atlas. He serves on the Board of the Marin County Bar Association and of WildCare, a non-profit nature education and wild animal rehabilitation charity.

He is married to a remarkable interior designer and has 3 children in the public schools of San Rafael, California

Robert Small
President and Executive Director of Registration

Bob Small has taken the V-DAC program from its successful California test market and rolled it out nationally with innovative Internet support that makes it the only vehicle donation program that serves the needs of decentralized charities like the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

After a brief break to visit 25 countries, Bob graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and went on to receive an MBA from Columbia University. He worked in various corporate Brand Management positions, culminating as head of Brand Marketing at ICI Paints Stores Division handling $450 million in Glidden® and other brands business.

Bob continually seeks out new challenges and has executed turnaround or growth programs with multiple national brands including No Nonsense® Pantyhose, STP® Automotive Products, and Olympic®, Pittsburgh® and Glidden® Paints. His expertise in rapid development of integrated marketing programs has been invaluable to V-DAC's success. You can see another example of his work in any Lowe's Home Center in the Olympic Paint Program, which he developed, sold and launched nationally in only 9 months, ½ the normal time for a major program.

Bob is married to a fellow North Carolinian who has a career as a nurse executive and consultant. Together they have raised 3 children.
