V-DAC Mission:

for multi-chapter and small non-profit organizations to raise funds through vehicle donations.
V-DAC History:
V-DAC is a direct out-growth of the successful internet and telephone-based
vehicle donation service provided by J D Power using Adesa Impact, the company responsible for the disposition
and auction of damaged vehicles for 14 of the 20 largest insurance companies in the U S and of donated vehicles for many
of the nation's top charitable donation programs. V-DAC is now a for-profit LLC based in San Rafael, California.
V-DAC Duties:
V-DAC's role is to provide local and national non-profits with easy access to an efficient, no cost (to nonprofits or donors) vehicle disposition program. V-DAC also provides marketing support for the vehicle donation program to participating charities, schools and religious congregations. It counsels them and provides the marketing tools necessary for them to explain the donation program to their supporters. Finally, it maintains a database (Registry) of non-profit organizations which have registered their contact information or had it registered by supporters making a vehicle donation.
